Trabajan en las Becas para Estudiantes de High School
Lorena Alvarez, Representante de becas para estudiantes de High School, informó que con anticipación se trabaja en establecer las becas que estarán disponibles para los alumnos proximos a graduar.
Comentó que el trabajo se hace con anticipación para estar bien preparados para el fin de cursos.
Mencionó que se agradece a las personas que contribuyen en la aportación de estos apoyos económicos que mucho ayudan para que los estudiantes continuen sus carreras.

Donan $500 Dólares a escuela del L.D.C.
El Centro de Desarrollo del Lenguaje (LDC) recibió un donativo de $500 dólares d parte de Max E-Mart.
El donativo fue recibido por la Principal del organismo educativo Rosella E. Even, estando presente
Rosa Briseño de Max E-Mart #11-750 Main St. y la oficial instruccional María Elena Rodriguez.

Se realizó el desfile de Homecoming por parte de los estudiantes de la Eagle Pass High School (EPHS), durante la tarde del jueves.

First robotic competition
The first robotic competition for the Advanced Academics Summer Robotics Pilot Program took place on Friday, June 20th at 9:00a.m. at the San Luis Elementary gymnasium. The parents were welcomed by Mrs. Downing (Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction). BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB RECEIVED A DONATION OF A VAN
The Boys and Girls Club received a special gift by the City of Eagle Pass & Eagle Pass Police Department -a van with the Boys and Girls Club logo. The van will be a very valuable addition to the club. The van helps to provide transportation to different events and activities for the club's members and specially during the heavily participated Summer Program. The Boys and Girls Club thanks the City Council Members, City Manager & the Chief of Police for the donation of the van.

The Eagle Pass Arts Council presents
“Babe, The Sheep Pig”
Twenty-eight Eagle Pass kids will perform “Babe, The Sheep Pig” at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 27th and 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 28th at the C.C. Winn Auditorium. The story of a pig, Babe, who wishes to get the job of a sheep dog, is the 14th Children’s Theater Production presented by the Arts Council of Eagle Pass. On Monday June 9, 2008, a group of Memorial Junior High students visited Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This was the first stop of their "All American Tour" which has planned stops at three major cities which include: New York, Washington, DC, and St Louis. EPJH presents honor society inductees
Eagle Pass Junior High School inducted 46 new members into the National Junior Honor Society during ceremonies Monday that included symbolic candle-lightings and recitation of the group’s pledge.
Current NJHS officers Jonathan Rodriguez, Nicole Saucedo, Sayuri Morales, Vanessa Lopez, Jaclyn Byrne, and Ana Laura Perez directed the progam under the guidance of sponsor Juan Jose Mancha.
