EPHS’s varsity and junior varsity softball teams finish up their district schedule by visiting Laredo Cigarroa at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, and then playing C.C. Winn at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Thursday.

     Eagle Pass High School’s varsity football team won their District 29-5A opener by defeating Laredo LBJ 21-14.     Jose Rodriguez hauled in a 25-yard pass from Tommy Galvan for a touchdown during the Eagles’ opening drive. Rodriguez threw a 30-yard scoring strike to Hector Gloria in the second quarter.
