WASHINGTON –
Theft of American intellectual property is a serious crime, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced that their vigorous, ongoing efforts to protect America from the trade in counterfeit and pirated goods during fiscal year (FY) 2011 resulted in 24,792 seizures, a 24 percent increase over 2010.

Obama announces plan to help pay their college loans
Washington, Oct (EFE) .-
U.S. President Barack Obama announced a plan to ease the repayment of loans to pay college students to pursue their studies, they can refinance with a maximum of 10 percent of its income, and not 15 percent.
In a speech to students at the University of Colorado at Denver, the president promised to sign an executive order to advance to January 2012 start date of a law providing that measure, and is approved by Congress but their entry into force was in 2014.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the Eagle Pass Port of Entry on Thursday seized a combination load of heroin and cocaine valued at $860,000. The seizure resulted in the arrest of two vehicle passengers. The seizure occurred on Mar. 10 at the Camino Real International Bridge.
