Maverick County Junior Livestock Show Barn Burglarized $2,000 Reward Offered

On January 21st, 2012, a report of a burglary was reported by the Maverick County Junior Livestock Show Barn, located on the grounds of the Maverick County Lake. A total of 16 Panels consisting of four (4) Grey Corner Panels, Four (4) Grey Long Panels, and Eight (8) Grey Short Panels were stolen from the barn.
It's a shame that a person(s) took these panels that are used by our youth to show their animals each year. Stealing is a crime and when thieves target our youth it's more of a despicable crime. The Maverick County Sheriff's Office along with the Maverick County Junior Livestock Show Barn is offering a Two Thousand Dollar ($2,000.00) Reward for information leading to the recovery and arrest of the person(s) involved in the Burglary of this Building. The person(s) providing information may remain anonymous if they so choose. Maverick County Sheriff Tomas S. Herrera is hopeful that someone with information will come forward and provide the information needed to secure an arrest.
