City and Chamber of Commerce to Discuss Land Donation

City Council authorized City Manager Daniel Velenzuela to discuss a possible land donation requested by the Chamber of Commerce. The land in discussion is where the organization is currently located off of Garrison St, near Hal H. Bowles Park. Council Member and Chamber President William Davis stated that there are various options to investigate, but will stand back in these negotiations as he wishes to not impart a conflict of interest. The Chamber presented a letter with their request for the land donation, being that they plan to make significant investments to the facility.
