BASEBALL & SOFTBALL
The City of Eagle Pass Parks and Recreation Department concluded its youth baseball and softball seasons earlier
this month.
DIVISION II SOFTBALL
The Lady Tigers won the Division II girls softball title. Coaches for the Lady Tigers are Chris Olivas, Raul Martinez and Patty Contreras. On the team are Gaby Oliva, Keila Contreras, Alyssa Lara, Justine Ibarra, Ashley Ethredge, Emily Medina, Bianca Camarillo, Vanity Fuentes, Brianna Baca, Paola Daniel, Leslie Martinez and Kayla Lofland.
The Lady Cardinals came in second. Coaches for the Lady Cardinals are Antonia Grebenok, Michael Grebenok, Santa Cruz and Janette Vivian. On the team are Kimberly Alfonso, Leslie De Leon, Sarah Grebenok, Ashley Cruz, Jasmine Muñoz, Jacqueline Leos, Cristobel Martinez, Kayla Vivian, Kassandra Rodriguez, Cassandra Gutierrez, Joeann Padilla and Serena Morales.
Placing third were the Lady Mustangs. Coaches for the Lady Mustangs are Caridad Garcia, Polo Amaya, Dora Hernandez and Vanessa Rodriguez. On the team are Martha Garcia, Kayla
Alvarez, Kaytlyn Amaya, Janell Camacho, Lorelei Morales, Emely Hernandez, Brenda L. Venegas, Lizbeth Perez, Kayla Vasquez, Nayeli Solis and Jolynn Salinas.
Coming in fourth were the Lady Bobcats. Coaches for the Lady Bobcats are Tanya M. Krezdorn, Lee D. Krezdorn, Ana Salazar, Ruby Gaytan. On the team are Leenette Krezdorn, Luisana Sierra, Anissa Salazar, Angel Galvan, Lezly Perez, Ashley Orozco, Alejandra Huerta, Ashley Madrid, Rosie Arellano, Alicia Fuentes, Alliah Cardenas and Clarissa Saucedo.
DIVISION III SOFTBALL
Capturing the Division III girls’ softball crown were the Lady Falcons. Coaches for the Lady Falcons are Willie Ruiz, Rogelio Rueda, Glenn Valdez. On the team are Liz Ann Heather Ruiz, Alejandra Rueda, Aileene Valdez, Jackqueline Gonzalez, Lysandra Gonzalez, Gloria Marcos, Erika Morales, Lyanna Martinez, Olivia Rosales, Emily Snyder and Andrea Tovar.
The Lady Miners finished second. Coaches for the Lady Miners are Sandra Salinas, Amy Flores, Leo Flores and Mario Salinas. On the team are MiryamSalinas, Anissa Garcia, Gisselle Velasquez, Jacky Sesatty, Bianette Rodriguez, Cecilia Mendoza, Erica Aguirre, Kimberly Aza, LeAnn Dunn, Lizette Esquivel, Anais Flores and Deyanira Salazar.
Placing third were the Lady Mavericks. Coaches for the Lady Mavericks are Daniel Gil, Isabel Gil, Moises Nieto, Alberto De La Torre and Alejandro Rodriguez. On the team are Lynet Gil, Daniela Rodriguez, Annette Jimenez, Sarai Nieto, Stephanie Hernandez, Vanessa Guardado, Maria Soto, Martha Martinez, Amairani Romero, Monica Olivo, Ivana Rodriguez and Yuliana Saldaña.
Taking fourth place were the Lady Eagles.
