the boat ramps that are open to public use are at Diablo East, Black Brush, Rough Canyon, Box Canyon, and the Pecos River.
All but one of the National Park Service campgrounds have been flooded by the rising lake level,

The National Park Service cares for special places saved by the American people so that all may experience our heritage.and as a result, the only campground that remains open in the park at the present time is the Governors Landing Campground, which has 16 campsites. In addition, all three of the parks' Group Campsites have been closed. These campgrounds will remain closed to public use until the lake level drops and park staff can get in to clean up the campsites. We have no estimated date when the campgrounds will reopen, but it will most likely be at least two to three weeks. Check the park website to get the latest updates on the status of the campgrounds. We urge park visitors to use caution when swimming in the lake at this time. Due to the nature of the floodwaters, the lake water is not as clean as it normally is. The park had no control as to what may have been carried downstream during the recent unprecedented floods. In addition, floating mounds of fire ants have been observed on the water, and pose an unexpected risk to swimmers. Photographs of the flood damage can be seen on our park web site.
“Our prime concern now is the safety of our park visitors and staff. This is a time when extreme caution must be used by everyone here at Amistad” said Superintendent Alan Cox.
